Big Churchyard Birdwatch

Nineteen different species of birds were seen in and over the churchyards at All Saints Church by hardy birders over two hours on Sunday, 27th January. The enchanting little long tailed tits were the greatest in number with 10 at one sighting, and it may be that two buzzards and a kestrel roaring past may have made some birds harder to spot! Some 18 people braved the cold to assist in the birdwatch but spirits were also raised by warming soup, tea, coffee and some astounding scones and cakes.
