Our church is open on Tuesday, Thursday and after the morning service on Sunday, as part of the Heritage Open Days festival. There is a small exhibition in church outlining the conservation management of the churchyards and showing photographs of some of the birds, butterflies, dragonflies and bees seen during wildlife surveys there. It is also a good opportunity to view the unique wall painting of St Christopher, the octagonal font and several pre-Reformation structures inside the church. If the church is not open, there is some information in the south porch about the plants in the churchyards and a “Walk around the outside” guide to the stones which have been used to build the church – they are not all flint! We hope you will come and have a look and enjoy the beauty of the church and the churchyards and the surrounding area.
We have also created a presentation about the floral and fauna around our church.
